Laura Prepon was born on March 7, 1980 in Watchung, NJ, near New York City. She currently portrays Donna Pinciotti on the FOX sitcom That '70s Show, and divides her time between Watchung and Los Angeles.
Laura attended Watchung Hills Regional High School. Laura studied at the Total Theater Lab in NYC, where she appeared in numerous theatrical presentations, including "a woman of property" and "ascension day."
Laura started studying acting at the young age of 15 as well as Ballet, Jazz , and Modern. She also played soccor and other sports. Like her co-star Grace, Prepon has no other TV credits besides an MCI commercial (that I know of anyway) but has starred in Theater and the internet tv series 'They Go On' for NBC. She was in a Clean and Clear ad too. She did modeling in Paris, Milan, and elsewhere in Europe.
Laura resides in Watchnung, NJ when not in L.A. filming. Co-star Ashton Kutcher is teaching her how to play golf. She loves sneakers and vintage clothes and her favorite book is The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien (How could anyone not love that book?). In addition to having great taste in books she loves Harrison Ford and Matt Damon. She drives a black 1998 Ford explorer.
